What is the difference?, . . .other than the price. My cat Juneau is on Prozinc and his blood glucose is in the 200's. We are using 5ml 2 times a day, or 12 hours apart.

Hi Kelly and welcome to FDMB. I suggest you post this question on the Main Health forum
http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/forums/feline-health-the-main-forum.28/ so that more members can read and respond.

You can review information on both insulins, how they work and the protocols:
    http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/forums/prozinc-pzi.24/
    http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/forums/caninsulin-vetsulin-and-n-nph.19/

It would be very helpful to have more information on Juneau, so that advising members can review before offering information or suggestions. A signature, as well as the record of insulin dosage and tes:cat:ting data would provide that information:
Setting up your signature (light grey text under a post). Here's how:
click on your name in the upper right corner of this page
click on "signature" in the menu that drops down
type the following in the box that opens: kitty's name/age/date of diabetes diagnosis/insulin you're using and dosage amount /glucose meter you're using/what he eats/any other meds or health issues he has. You can add your name, and a geographic location (sometimes the time zone matters) Be sure to SAVE when you are finished.
    2. Another thing that will help us help you is to set up a spreadsheet like the one we use here. You will see how the trends and patterns emerge, and members can review his progress before offering suggestions or advice:

    Best wishes going forward

5 units twice a day is a LOT of insulin. Is your kitty a newly diagnosed kitty?
