Anyone have info on these? The ingredients are listed as Beef, Dried Chicory Root, cultured whey, Sea Salt, Lecithin, Mixed Tocopherols. Seems like is mightbe ok. Squamee doesn't like many treats and loves these. I don't know about chicory and carbs. aLSO, the package doesn't say anything about refrigeration---seems ok not to? Thanks for any info.

    Hello!

I was poking around for some info for u...

try this link, for a list of suitable treats.

Most people here will recommend freeze dried treats, as they are usually 100% meat, and no other ingredients, plus low carb.
Brands like Pure Bites is one of them (FYI: if the freeze dried treat is ONLY 100% pure meat, you can also use the "dog" packaged ones too, it's only a pic, and it's the same thing inside)

Wellness treats can also run a bit more $$, plus they do contain "other" ingredients as you can see in their product info on their website.
I think there are some here who use it, hope they come by and give u some further feedback.

Sorry, don't know anything about the treats, but here's a coupon for them--it expires today though, so you'll have to be quick!! :D

I did find this about chicory though, which leads me to believe there's some carb. content there:

Around 1970 it was found that the root contains up to 20% inulin, a polysaccharide similar to starch. Inulin is mainly found in the plant family Asteraceae as a storage carbohydrate (for example Jerusalem artichoke, dahlia etc.). It is used as a sweetener in the food industry (with a sweetening power approximately 90% less than sucrose)[6] and is sometimes added to yogurts as a prebiotic. Inulin can be converted to fructose and glucose through hydrolysis. Inulin is also gaining popularity as a source of soluble dietary fiber.

Wellness is great about responding to emails through their customer service page on wellnesspetfood.com.
