    Hi

I've used up the first of my Lantus pens and want to know if I just toss it in the garbage or recycle it somewhere like a drug store? There was a bit of insulin left in it, but each time I tried to fill the syringe I got a lot of air so decided to open another one.

Not sure if these are dangerous to throw out, so welcome to all your comments.

    Thanks

    Shawna

Maybe check with your pharmacy about local laws.

as far as i know, you can put them in the garbage. there's nothing toxic in there, nothing contaminated, and it's not sharps. i just tossed mine in with the kitchen trash.
