Can someone please tell me what the normal blood sugar levels for cats is? I keep seeing conflicting levels in the paperwork the vet gave and online.

Normal blood glucose is 50-120, but most vets will tell you it's higher because they aren't used to people who are willing to test at home to keep their cats safe.

They'd rather have them run higher, even if it's not the best thing for their diabetes

    ETA.....if you're using a pet meter like the AlphaTrak, it's 68- about 150

    50-120 on a human meter

    68-150 on an Alphatrak.
