    Hi,
I am contemplating giving Trina fish oil to see if it helps with her allergy issues. But I was concerned because I believe fish oil thins blood & I wasn't sure if that would affect her diabetes in any way. She also has a thyroid condition but supposedly it won't affect that. And I was told to use a pure fish oil that was certified by a lab. Does anyone use fish oil supplements & does it affect blood sugar in any way? She started ProZinc 5 weeks ago & so far so good. I would hate to give her something that may make her blood change.
    Thank you!

Since its not comprised of carbohydrates, I don't see that it would have a huge effect. And anything that helps improve the overall health is to be considered a good thing!

Salmon/Fish oil is one of the ingredients in the recipes for raw cat food. I can't imagine it would be a problem.
