Would you rather make headlines for saving somebody's life or winning a Nobel Prize?

If it were for a Nobel Prize in say medicine that ultimately saved many lives or millions of lives, then give me the Nobel please. I think the idea of the Peace Prize is that "peace" saves lives too, but "peace" seems a very mutable term in Swedish... And not sure if lives have been saved by economics, but the "Economics Nobel" isn't a real Nobel anyway.

You make a good point about # of lives saved by the Nobel Prize, Gator. That being said, I think I'm going to say for saving a life. It's tangible, it's immediate, and it's not subject to a committee. ;-)

yep, i'm going with saving a life.

given that recent events have de-valued the Nobel Prize somewhat, i can see it not being looked upon as such a regal accomplishment by some :)
