I'm doing a mini curve on her this morning, and probably another one tomorrow, too. Given the data so far this morning, I'd be wanting to feed her PS (of course), +1, +2, and +3 (to start with) to slow down the drop that's occuring. Correct?

I greatly appreciate all of your input. This is going to be interesting.

MY WISH: For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

Hi guys .. blackies numbers are looking very nice! We did front loading with mocha (feeding at PS, +1, 2 and 3) and I think that really helped her out .. Hope you guys get some answers .. have a great day!

As long as you already know when Blackie's onset and nadir and how much duration she's been getting right now, this is fine. If you are basing what you know on history, I'd get a curve without being overly attentive to the feeding cycle. I would point out, however, that if what you noted is a change in Blackie's feeding schedule, it can take quite some time to see a change. It took Gabby about 2 mos.

    Question Re: 01/30 Blackie AMPS 132 +1 116 +2 68 +3 66 +4 71

    AMPS 132, 1u, 0.70 oz. Evo 95% C&T
    +1 116
    +2 68 - 0.70 oz. Evo 95% C&T
    +3 66 - 0.70 oz. Evo 95% C&T
    +4 71

Question: If/when I do a dose increase, would I want to do it now, or wait a bit to see what her reaction is to the new feeding schedule first?

    PMPS 80, 1u, 0.70 oz. Evo 95% C&T
    +2 80 - 0.70 oz. Evo 95% C&T
    +3 - 0.70 oz. Evo 95% C&T
    +4.5 63 - 0.10 oz. raw turkey cutlet

Ok, my turn to say it...

    Seriously????

I haven't done anything today, except tell her that I was planning on the frontloading process with her tonight, and this is the "thanks" I get. All I can say is... WOW!!!! But, knowing her, she'll be back up there tomorrow, I'm sure. If so, frontloading will be started.

I'm also kicking myself for not getting a later midcycle test.

You're not going to see any big changes to shifting the feeding schedule. The response tends to be gradual. (And, of course, Blackie will prove me wrong.) You can increase at any point. Just remember, you are going to use food to try to prevent a dose reduction.

      Beautiful!

Good luck with the food change - it has worked well Ruth Mannie, and yes it did take that long to see a change, What she noted about using food to try to prevent a dose reduction is correct. I hope it levels things out for Blackie!

I haven't begun the process of frontloading, yet. I WAS going to start tonight, until Blackie gave me that beautiful #. I'll see what she does tomorrow morning, and begin the new feeding schedule then. If her PS # is like this, I may not do anything for a while, and see what she does.

Blackie's proved us all wrong at some point, huh? She has her own agenda, I tell you.
