Okay...I canceled the order for the Felidae/Canidae. Instead, I ordered Wysong Epigen, which is totally free of starch. The manufacturer says there is less that 5% carbs from things like fruit in the kibble, and the canned is carb free. The kibble has 50 to 60 % protein, and 70% of the protein is from animal sources.

The kibble is around $3 per pound, which is really good for the quality of this food.

i'll keep you posted on how Isee does on this food.

Hi Ellyn - It has to be Epigen 90 not the regular Epigen
At first, Murphy wouldn't touch the food but now he will eat it regularly - I give him just a bit most days -
It's funny when he won't eat any wet food, if I give him only about 10-15 pieces of Epigen 90, he gobbles it up and then will eat the wet food. It really doesn't affect his blood sugar. I wish he would eat Young Again, but he won't.
Let us know what you think -

I don't know which Epigen my daughter ordered but it should arrive today. He is a very fussy eater so we will see how it goes.

I hope it is the Epigen 90 - it is different from the regular Epigen

If it isn't the 90, I will know what to order next time around. Thanks for the info!

The package arrived and it doesn't say "90" on it anywhere. It is a variety pack and is supposed to be 95% meat and starch free. I hope this works for him.
