I can't tell you how much it means to see others posting in encouraging ways. The bounce cycle is frustrating and lonely, as I know everyone knows. So thank you, all of you who respond, for just dropping a word or two. It's like a pat on the back.

Man. One of the hazards of the bleary stupidity of early morning shooting on the weekends like this is that I can only dimly recall giving the shot & can't confidently distinguish it in the sequence of events that took place today versus yesterday. This whole team-n-chart approach might have been created expressly for a Recovering Morning Person like me. Really drives home the crucial necessity of self-care -- particularly, adequate sleep -- in keeping Ms Thang's organic chemistry on the road & out of the tall grass.

Still staying in reasonable numbers! 191 at PMPS.

+2 is 180. She's showing onset around 2 hours after insulin. This is good. I predict greens before I go to bed.

+4 is still good.

We're testing a new meter and comparing it against the One Touch blue. The CVS meter gave her a 115. The One Touch is 135. In terms of relative numbers, I know that 20 points more or less isn't horrible. When dosing her, I wouldn't change what I'm doing based on 20 points variance unless she were under 100.

Is this typical?

Such a lovely curve for today. I put the numbers here as I ran out of room in the subject line. The new dose of 1 u seems to be working well so far. 3 cycles of mostly blues and greens.
