Yum has been in a pretty narrow range of reds and pinks for 3 days now, except for one spike to black.
It doesn't look like she is bouncing, does it?
I could talk myself into increasing her by .25 tomorrow morning, but I know I am supposed to wait and increase it by .5 day after tomorrow (provided she hasn't improved).

I hope she will make a fool of me and go yellow or blue this evening...

I wonder if she could have another infection.

    No, she isn’t bouncing.

I’d see how she does tomorrow through both cycles. If she doesn’t budge, you’re right to increase by 0.5u after a total of six cycles.

I checked email all night for your advice then I freaked out this morning at her AMPS 687 and took her to 4 units after just 4 cycles. She is doing much worse than last spring. I will check her every 3 hours today. AMPS + 3 631.

Sorry...I’ve been sick this week so just popping in and out when I feel up to it. I didn’t get a PM from you, though.

I totally understand how the numbers can freak you out but you can’t chase them. You can get into real trouble with Lantus by dosing on the preshot.

    :bighug:

Want to know how I get around that?

I draw the dose before I do the PS test and feeding. I know myself all too well, I have to really discipline myself to hold the does for 6 cycles. It truly is a test of my will power.

Here are some Christmas Patience Pants for ya!

Well I do appreciate your trust. We have to watch those gut reactions. I do understand.....I’ve experienced the same and I know I’ve jumped the gun a time or two.
