Woke up early and Spitzer was hungry, so I tested him an hour early @ 7:00 am, fed him, then gave him his ProZinc dose early too, to start his day.
Since I know Lantus works best on 12 dosing, or as close as I can keep it, I waited until 8 to give him the Lantus. I made the error of going to him and shooting him where he was resting ... and had a partial fur shot again.
I re-tested him at +2 from the ProZinc dose and he was elevated. Since I had missed part of the Lantus dose, I opted to give him a tiny 0.25 Unit bolus of R insulin which I know will knock off around 100 points.
