Last two nights Baileys PMPS was too low to shoot - I don't shoot him under 200 at night because he drops too low and I spend the night feeding HC and testing. I have tried giving 8% (compared to his usual 4%) to see if that will keep him up - it doesn't. So next time I will try 12% or something and see if that does the trick. Really though since Bonnie died 3 months ago, I have just not had the energy to stay up at night..

I might be suffering from mild depression since she passed. I don't have the energy to stay up and test at night and have just been giving Bailey a bowl of HC and going back to bed for a few hours. I need to invest a bit more time in Bailey with testing all night and Pikachu (rabbit) probably needs physical therapy a few times a day for her arthritis but I can't find the strength or willpower to handle that right now...

I suspect winter and shorter days do that to me.

I can't stay up all the time, at least not as much as in the summer.

But to take better care of them we must take care of ourselves as well.
