Sylvester was just diagnosed with IBS this week.
I know this is a diabetic board, but you're all so helpful with Bart, I thought I'd see what you suggest LOL
The vet put him on Science Diet Z/D. She gave me some of the duck and venison to try.
So far I've mixed in some of the duck with what he's been eating, and he likes it.
But with feeding 4 cats an all canned food diet, due to the 2 special needs cats, I need to find a budget friendly food for Sylvester since he can't have Friskie''s or Fancy Feast like everybody else
And with the prescription food being $2.20 a can it's a little out of my budget. I could probably do a dollar, to $1.60 a can.
Any suggestions, thoughts, and advice would greatly be appreciated!

Have you joined the Yahoo IBD group?

Have you tried a raw diet?

No, I haven't. But I was wondering if there was a group and how to find it.
I haven't tried raw yet, I just found out yesterday.
    Thank you

There are novel protein diets you can also try, like rabbit, bison, venison. I think Nature's Variety carries a few.
