2/14 Michelangelo AMPS 288, +6/125 PMPS 114, +3/149

Michelangelo has been doing much better on this skinny 2u and I'm thinking of increasing it tonight to a full 2u.

Ugh! Life! It's not just handing me lemons; it's planted an entire lemon tree in my backyard! I got a "termination of tenancy" notice last night from the property management company that I need to be out by April 15. I've lived at this place for 10 years without any major problems till this past month when they wanted to raise my rent for "property improvements" so I called and said that if they were improving the property, I'd like our carpets replaced (CA law says that the landlord has to replace carpets every 5 years without charge if the tenant requests it). :YMSIGH: I'm definitely going to be having to pay more in rent and now I'm encountering this issue with pet deposits and monthly pet rent. Oh, and my brother also totaled his car today. ohmygod_smile

Now, onto something pleasant. Here's a "before-and-after" set of pictures of one of Mikey's favorite sleeping positions. :lol:

Oh dear. Sorry you have to go through all that. Uprooting, moving is so stressful. Good thing you have those goofy boys to keep you sane.

Aww...no! Just sounds so lame and unfair and...and... terrible. I hate moving, especially when you end up having to pay more. I hope you end up finding a nice place. Hope your brother is ok. Big car accidents are so scary! As always love the pics of Mikey. I had a kitty (now GA) growing up that liked to sleep with all four paws sticking almost straight up in the air. Not sure if we ever got a pic of that. Anyway, when he'd do it, you almost had to nudge him to make sure he was still breathing he looked that dead. He always was...breathing that is.

I'm actually fairly upbeat about it. I've hated the place I live currently but the rent was too good to move. Now that I have to move, I'm getting an upgrade! More space, no more slumlords, possibly closer to work. So many plusses that make up for the increase in rent.

With the car accident, this is about his 5th major totaled cat accident since he got his license 13 years ago (including one of my cars). None his fault so far (except maybe this one) and he's walked away from every one of them, happy to be alive. He is a car accident magnet!

And I'm loving Mikey's PMPS. I gave him a full 2u tonight so depending on his +2, I might be up late tonight to keep checking on him. :mrgreen:

Ugh! I hope this isn't gonna be another cycle where he just travels upwards and is over 300 at AMPS tomorrow.

Well, if you have to move, an upgrade can make it worth it. So glad you're brother is alright. That's too bad he seems to be an accident magnet. Very nice PMPS for Mikey tonight. I'll be up late with you keeping an eye on my Max.
