Still haven't found a place yet. The place I really, really, really wanted still hasn't said yes OR no to us. She even texted me again today to "follow up" on some questions she had regarding my application. ohmygod_smile Only reason I'm still placating her is because we haven't found any other place even worth applying for yet... Although I think I just found one today. Only problem is that they won't even be able to look at our application till Monday and by that time, someone else might have already taken it. :cry: I've got about 5 appointments set up to look at places tomorrow, although I'm not holding my breath because so far, only about 10% of the places I've looked at have even closely resembled anything to what is being advertised and out of those, so far only two places are worth the exorbitant amount of rent everyone is charging around here. :YMSIGH:
In Mikey news, there's a definite and clear difference showing on his spreadsheet for how well he's doing on the Levemir vs. the Lantus. Yes, I've been increasing his dose again, but he's not experiencing quite as dramatic up-and-downs like he had been on Lantus. (I personally think his diabetes is caused by some form of IAA, like human Type 1 diabetics, so his continuous need for increases makes sense in that context.) His personality has also unquestionably changed for the better. And every night now, he's taken to sleeping with me in the same bed
when before, he could barely tolerate me petting him without him getting annoyed, much less sitting or sleeping anywhere close to me. It's just such a remarkable change in behavior and numbers that I can't get over how miraculous this Levemir switch has been. :mrgreen:
