Alice is NOT easy!!!

I feel so bad for her (& myself now to be honest!). It grieves me to see such high blood glucose & see her less able to climb the stairs with 'flicking' of her limbs. She has suddenly stopped being so sensitive to Lantus, from needing only a drop, to little effect & staying high. I am gradually increasing her Lantus but don't see any improvement. Does anyone know if this is an explainable phenomenon :!: Her Bg results never fail to surprise me!

I'm on my own here now with her care. Hubby has bowed out so emotionally I am finding this hard. The sleep deprivation and effects on my health are now 'The cat's' fault (!?!) Poor Alice, she is the sweetest natured patient pussy! There doesn't seem to be an easy answer but if anyone has any insight into what is happening I'd be very interested.

Many thanks

Julie

How old is the Lantus? When it loses effectiveness, it can do so fairly suddenly, especially in a micro dose kitty. Also, it might not be the lantus at all, but there is something else going on with Alice. How are her teeth? appetite, ... a whole cat report. I know you said she was having issues with her legs. How is everything else?
