Look at Hoot GO YAY Hoot :mrgreen: Lookin Good Buddy :-D He is the surf pro lately :lol:
It must be the new green surfboard he bought :mrgreen: :lol: Finally some nice AMPS and PMPS #'s too. He is feeling great, laying in the catio, listening to all the sounds and smelling all the smells. I tried the new food "Paw Lickin Chicken" on them all this morning and it was a BIG hit! YAY!! The food hunt is over :roll: :-D
We had a big thunder roller with lots of rain about 4:30 this morning. It was very scary for the babies. When I got up at 5:30 to shoot Hoot, he was still trembling, poor baby nailbite_smile But he has since recovered :-D

Hi Pam,

That was some storm per my DH, but I slept till the 5:15 alarm, so I missed the loudest part! :-D

Hoot is doing so good!! Glad your guys like the Paw Lickin Chicken. FYI - Wag.com has it in the bigger cans.

Jeeeeze, there I go braggin on him and he throws me a 161. I think that is a "Paw Lickin Chicken" spike. I'll have to watch it and see if the new food is doing that.

Hey Pam - I've been starting to feed the paw lickin chicken too. Why do you think it would cause a spike? is it higher in carbs than I think? I thought it was 3%, but can't be sure. I was just about to order more, but paused when I saw your post....

I don't know, I could be totally wrong and it just could be that his BG went up. It just seemed a little early for it to rise that much. And it says it's 3.3%. I was feeding him the Grammy's pot pie which was 8%, and he never did that, and he's not real carb sensitive, so I'm just going to keep trying and watching it for a few days because I and they really like it. I was just about to order some too. Go to Chewy.com, you can get it for 29.97 a case, 12,10 oz cans, free shipping if you order more than 49.00, which would be 2 cases. It's cheaper than Wag.com. And if you get on auto ship they will give you 15% off your 1st order, up to $15.00. Hopefully it wasn't the food. Thanks for stopping by :-D

Hi Pam,

I've been feeding Paw Lickin' Chicken to Tigger (he likes the Tiki Cat Puka Puka more - but more expensive, of course!). I thought it was low carb, too - have never associated it with a spike - but I'll pay more attention - thanks for the heads up!

oh - I get my Weruva from Doggiefood.com - 15% discount if you order over $200 (used to be $150), 10% for $150 & 5% for ??? + free shipping over $49. They ship SLOW out to the West Coast, but their prices beat Chewy & petflow for me. NEW17 used to give you a 17% discount if it still works. Also for Tiki Cat, but they don't carry it right now :roll:

I don't know if it was the food. It probably wasn't. Just caught me off guard, he was surfing so nice :mrgreen: I gave him some Fowl Ball tonight which is 4.1% so we'll see. ECID :roll: Thanks for the heads up on Doggiefood.com. I'll check it out. When I first started looking for the food online it was 40 sum dollars. I knew I couldn't afford to feed 3 cats that :sad: So when I found it for 29.79 :-D :-D If they can beat that....even better flip_cat Have a great night and thanks for stopping by :YMPEACE:
 
Well I gave him some Weruva "Fowl Ball" food, 4.1% at PMPS and look at his BG now. So it seems it is not the food and he just wanted to see the sunny yellows today.
He hadn't seen them in a few days :lol: :roll: I'm so glad, but will still keep an eye on it.
 
Nice bounce clearing for Hoot! I was feeding Trix Paw Lickin' for a while..she loved it, but it did seem to spike her, but I'm not 100% sure. Now that I've got her regulated again, I am tempted to try it again.
