Thanks for the visit last night, Amy ~ funny what you said about Ripley and credit card offers ~ the thought crossed our minds, but we don't want her to go to jail for credit card fraud :lol: ...

Ripley is doing great today.
Great mood, great appy, squawky, and she even got a little bit of backyard basking time earlier.

And, great news: SHE'S PLAYING! This is a very rare occurrence ~ she's rolling around, playing with her rainbow-felt-string-on-a-stick and trying to get treats out of her ball-in-a-circular-track-chaser toy. So cool!!!!

Hi Josie. Ripely had a nice slide back to her normal numbers. How awesome was it that she socialized with your family, even sitting with your niece playing video games. She's quite the star.

Wow, I guess her UTI must be clearing up ~ I had a feeling I'd start seeing lower numbers soon. No wonder she's so playful! I'll test her again in 30...

Lucy doesn't play much any more, but when she does even for a minute, it's really special and makes me so happy.

Ripley had a very restful afternoon; cat-napped on the bed by the A/C wall unit. I joined her for my own little cat nap. What a great day

We noticed a pattern: when Ripley is in one of her playful moods (not very often, we only witness it maybe once a month or so?) is usually around 10am. Her T/S/F is at 5:30am. (It's possible that there are more play times during the week while we are at work, but it's rare that her toys are moved/look played with.)

Also, this morning Ripples was very interested in what we were cooking for our breffis; while the pancakes were keeping warm in the oven, she kept trying to peek inside. It was so cute. She normally doesn't care about the goings on in the kitchen, unless there are kitty food cans being opened. Ripley wanted pancakes. :lol:
