Hey Bern..She sure doesn't like to be predictable, does she? I've got fingers, paws eyes..everything's crossed for a beautiful, calm Tashie surf.

Predictable? Tashie? Really - don't I wish! She is the bouncing Queen of the Universe ..... but, she seems to be in better numbers lately so I'm up for the challenge! Going to go find some Beach Boy music and see if that gets her surfing .... she can be such a dive bomber! Better get my gravy strained now - just in case!

That's a pretty good amps compared to what u have been seeing lately!! Maybe it's the beginning of something good....we can only hope! Tashie-let's see some nice surfing today!!! \M/

+2 fed 7ML of HC gravy - it's early in the cycle & she drops FAST! She does not "surf"........ trying to keep her safe and let her go under 50! Just to 49 :-D

If you weren't on such a low dose, I'd suggest trying Levemir. It really helped out with Lucian's bouncing.

@ 2.75 we have a 77. Did NOT feed any HC - she has LC in the bathroom with her but, of course, she is not eating it - surprise, surprise!

Again, I KNOW I shouldn't have given HC @ 79 but Tashie plummets SO fast I am TRYING to see if she can "surf" a bit ..........please don't yell at me :evil:

I would have given it with that drop too! Especially since Tashie won't always eat. Hope you can get her to figure out that surf board today!

TRYING REALLY HARD TO TEACH HER TO SURF! Just gave 3ML of H/C to keep her "supported" ........ if I didn't, she'd be in the teens.......not happy about being in the bathroom! She wants out bad! Hate that I have to do this! HATE IT!

Test in 30, and if you see something above 70, you can dial back on the carbs and see if she'll do some surfing.

OMG! You are just too funny! YES, it is 5 O'Clock somewhere ......just not here! And, as much as I'd like to get TANKED right now - not sure I can do good "pokies" if I'm S.Faced ohmygod_smile

So......... we have a 55 @ 4.75. Gave her 8ML of H/C coz if I didn't she'd be in the 20's next test! She is NOT a happy camper! Here she is, finally in the greens and it's a pokey day!

This qualifies as surfing :smile:
The water is just a little choppy. The most important thing you're learning is how well she responds to carb levels during a cycle of green numbers. That's good info to have, as this won't be the last time she has a day like this.

The other important thing is to note "when" during the cycle these things happen. If Tashie were in the latter part of the cycle, it probably wouldn't take as much to keep her numbers from dropping.

Yes Carl - I am "battling" with the Lantus doing it's job! Darn it! IF this were later in the cycle, I bet she would respond better to the H/C ...... and I am giving her a LOT - 3 syringes with each close to 3ML of gravy ........I did leave some MC food down but she is probably SO full of gravy that she's not interested - even with the appetite stimulant she got this morning - I find that when she goes lower, she just doesn't want to eat! .......testing in 7 minutes - but who's counting! The clock watching makes you batty!

THANKS CARL! Eh, I guess it is LC now as she jumped to 161. Gurrr! But that is still GREAT for her ohmygod_smile .........the Bouncy Queen! She has now "earned" both a dose reduction AND her freedom out of the bathroom and from the pokey woman! ....... at least for a while! Thanks for your support! And, GREAT to finally "meet" you! And just so you know ....... I really wasn't going to have a drink - just wanted one for a minute there! A BIG one! What fun that Amy sent that song ......makes me feel like I am not the ONLY one :lol:

So! 424 may seem like a HIGH number to most but for Tashie it could spell = LONG NIGHT! I guess that +2 will tell us something, huh? Well, not "adult beverage" for me until after +2 ..........it may be 5 O'clock somewhere but it has to be after 9:15 and a non scary +2 here! Cheers to all anyway! .......do ANY of us get to go out on a Saturday night anymore?!!! Maybe one day......bet I'm not missing much anyway!

Tashie is certainly quite the bouncer tonite. A lower +2 would be nice, as long as it isn't "low" low. I should be able to check back around +3.

Oh, Carl! I expected to see "the word" ........HIGH- that is where she usually goes! She has the "blackest" SS on the web! When she gives me a number, I have to stay on my toes because the little bugger does deep sea diving over that surfing stuff as I said earlier!
