Hi folks,
When Sammy was diagnosed, she could barely walk because of the weakness in her hind legs. She would hobble a few steps at a time, swaying from side to side, and sometimes her legs would give out and she would fall over sideways. It was so sad. But now Sammy has her old stroll back
She even runs after me at meal times, trotting daintily on the tips of her toes! It's so heart warming, seeing her coming back to her old self.
She's started grooming again (yay!) and now has that hairball cough, so I started her on coconut oil for hairballs (2.5 ml 2x/day). I just put it in a dish and she laps it up!
Her poo was dry and hard this AM. I'm considering adding Miralax to her daily regimen. How much should I start with, and how should I give it to her? Mixed in with her food? Is it best to add water?
Hope everyone has a great day. It's getting late here, so I'll be heading to bed soon. Good night I-)
