Ripley is doing great today. Most of the 5 Ps are in place (not much purring or playing, but that's normal for Ripples ~ she's still a happy camper this morning). There's a new P (are we up to #8 now?): Psychic abilities. She's sitting near her food bowl, staring intently at me, trying to telepathically tell me she needs more freeze-dried treats sprinkled on her food. Her eyes are squinted ~ she's concentrating so hard she's almost shaking. Kind of reminds me of Yoda using The Force. Maybe that's it ~ she's trying to use The Force! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Oh dear. Time for BTB.

OT: Day off work #2 today (back to work tomorrow). Maybe I'll visit this magical place.It's only 2 hrs away, and it's a Tuesday, so crowds will be low (I hope)... I'll check with Master Ripley later and see if it's ok with her that I take a little trip...

I think that Ripley would gladly give you some time off to visit the Muir Woods. It sounds like a wonderful place. He was one of my heros.

Hi Josie. Got a good chuckle when I read about the 8th P. it seems as if there has been a increase in the number of kitties demanding freeze dried treats on their food lately. Could they be communicating telepathically with each other ie. a conspiracy? :lol:

OOOOOOOOOO!! I like that magical place - go for it, with Ripley's signed permission slip, of course.

Love the 8th P! It reminds me of Mannie - he had the squinty look too. hmmmm... the force? Ripley you are very talented! I'll send Lola over and she can teach you how to open those treats for yourself. Then you won't have to wait for mama to give them to you. :lol:

Josie, I just had to visit Ripples today to see how she's doing, and so glad I did, as that is hysterical with the 8th "P"!! :lol: I love the squinted eyes, and reminds me of Mannie when he did it with Michelle. Ripley's numbers are looking great.
That sounds like a wonderful day trip. I think your weather should be great if it's anything like SD. Have a great day trip.

Hi, all, thanks for the visits !

Ripley is doing just great again tonight.
When I left for my day trip this morning, she was asleep on my bed.
When I returned home, she was asleep on my bed.
Oh, a cat's life...

OT: I ended up not going to magical Muir Woods; I drove by it, saw there was zero parking, and kept driving further until I found a lovely beach ~ only about 20 mins. past the woods. I've been to Muir Woods several times, and it's no fun when it's too crowded. I'll go back another day, and try to arrive when the park opens. I didn't get my redwoods fix, but I got my ocean fix, which was absolutely wonderful. I set up a towel and a beach chair, ate a yummy picnic, and read a book ~ even napped. **sigh** A good day.

I'm off to visit a new member soon, to show her how to home test. I'm not sure if I'll be able to visit LL condos, but please know that I'm keeping up with the goings on in LL :mrgreen: . I hope everyone is having a good evening!

Sounds like a very nice day, for both you and sweet Ripley girl! LOL on The Force...and, the truth is, they really do have The Force - we beans are putty in their paws!
