Hi LL!
Another day in the yellows with barely any movement. I started using the vet recommended "de-stressing" collar, so she's been passed out all day. No chewing or digging and her stomach though, so fingers crossed this helps.
The vet finally sent me her labs from last month at diagnosis. Turns out there a few other things not normal, but the vet never mentioned them to me. Is there anyone here that's good at reading labs...and knowing what may or may not be a problem? Also keep in mind, we're now thinking that Onyx's diabetes was steroid induced from a Dexamethasone treatment in June. Her symptoms started about 1 week later. Not sure if any of these abnormal results could be from the steroid as well.
Thank you in advance for taking a look.
Hope everyone is having a great day.
EDIT: PLEASE SEE MY NEXT POST FOR CALMING COLLAR DETAILS
EDIT: I just did some research and it turns out the slightly elevated Lymphocytes are most likely related to the steroid shot in June; the elevated Albumin is most likely from the diabetes, because she was starting to get dehydrated; the high colesterol is obviously from the crappy food she was on for years; and the slightly elevated Neutrophils are probably from the mild skin infection she had, which was why he gave her the steroid in the first place.
