Well 170 this morning. It was kind of high yesterday but this mornings number is a bit higher @ 170. Should I give any insulin?

Can you get another test?
I would want to give him 0.05 and see how he does. What do you think? I'm not sure if you've gone off to work yet or not.
Maybe you'll have to abort the trial for a couple or a few more days. I don't know. I've heard that they will get blues sometimes during a trial and you just have to ignore them, but that 170 is kind of pushing it.

At work now. I can't test till 3pm. +10, I'll test then. Might have to give some at pm time. Thanks.

98 @ +10. I don't understand why his numbers are higher in the morning. How often should I do spot checks now?

Woohoo!!! Good job, Mr. P! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I've seen Sienne suggest a little food about 3 hours before the AM test. That should stimulate the pancreas and bring down the BG. I think that's a valid explanation but I'm not sure. Hopefully, Sienne will confirm that.

40-120 on a human meter are normal numbers for a cat. Bucky is doing great!
