8/28 Pixie AMPS/85 +2.5/111 +6/73 +9.5/118 PMPS/100

I think Pixie had a very good night with his decrease.
Went down from 0.5U to 0.25U.
Happy to see him this morning at 85. dancing_cat

I did try to see how much actually comes out of the syringe at .25U and it
is like 1 drop. Does that seem correct? Such a tiny amount, hardly seems like
it would make a difference.

I can't remember if I've visited you guys before.....gorgeous AMPS for Pixie, and congrats on the decrease!!! A drop can make a HUGE difference with our little furbabies. I've never measured a straight up .25U, but for my Trixie, a one drop adjustment in her dose can mean the difference between surfing the "normal range" and hovering closer to the yellow zone. We've had other kitties here who need just a drop - without it, they're numbers are too high, but with it, they are good to go. It is amazing!

Great start for Pixie this morning! Yes, it really is amazing how much 1 drop can do! My Spock has been on 1 drop for a long time and every time I try to stop the insulin, he goes up to the high blues.

Yes that dose is a small amount.... but cats are small too. I think when I was down to 0.25u.... I was getting about a drop and a half out. ( different syringes)
