Yesterday was a really good day. In the afternoon, River became himself again, with some energy and spark. During the evening, he was able to hop out onto the deck, capably. It's been heartbreaking for the last few months to see him unable to heave his back legs up. This morning he was in good spirit, a bit tired, but looking alert.

Hoot is quite the handsome dude, I must say. I read his story, and you are so kind to have adopted the mom and two kittens. It's really lovely that a sibling lives close by. Sounds like you have a lot of room in your heart for helping others. Everyday angels like you make the world a worthwhile place to be.

What a nice whole kitty report! Reminds us that there is so much more than just numbers involved in our kitties healing. River is a beautiful guy, and his sibs are cuties too!! :-D

It was a pretty good day, I think. I was happy with how he stayed flat in the yellow.

The months before were not good. But now there's hope.

I re-visited River's updated profile.
What a nice family he has.
All your kitties are beautiful and they all seem to have different personalities, and I enjoyed "meeting" them very much.

By the way, River's "health issues" are quite similar to my Lucy's, minus CKD and gallbladder stones.
Diabetes, pancreatitis, IBD, upper respiratory infection, asthma, all there! :shock:
