Good morning LL!

Happy furry purry T this morning and a little bounce going on. He saw some beautiful greens again last night and earned another reduction. So much for that nice even dose. :roll: Ella pointed out an interesting thing. Tarragon started Allerplex a couple of weeks ago. She has heard that it can lower BG's so maybe that is the reason for the sudden green trend we are on. Unfortunately, it hasn't had much affect on his asthma yet. Lots of coughs last night, but a couple of extra breathing treatments seemed to have helped. We are stuck with the upped dose of prednisone of 10 mg. I worry about what the steroids are doing to his little body, but don't have a choice with his asthma.

Thank you all for the vines for DH. For those that didn't know, we spent some time at the ER a week ago for abdominal pain and it turned out to be diverticulitis and a sliding hernia. This weekend was pretty rough, but he is feeling a little better today. It is just becoming a challenge to find things that he can eat that won't hurt his tummy. He has lost 5 pounds in the last week, which he didn't really have to spare. I told him this morning that I need to get diverticulitis. I really wouldn't wish it on anyone though. Tough stuff.

Interesting observation from Ella on the effects of AllerPlex on the BG's. I had no clue... It has been nice to see all those greens for Tarragon. I hope the meds begin to help soon. Here's to a day with no coughing. Very nice on the earned reduction! GOOOOOOOOOOOOO Tarragon. I hope he will like the new dose. I so understadn on teh concern on the steroids, but know too you don't have much choice.

Major healing vines for DH. I hope he feels 100% again soon. It just doesn't sound like alot of fun right now for him. Vines too for a speedy recovery.

I'm sorry DH is still having such a hard time. I have heard how rough diverticulitus is...it does not sound fun at all.

Sending "breath easier" vines to T. I'm glad the extra breathing treatments helped last night. It's a bummer he has to be on the pred, but yep, it's one of those "gotta choose what's best, even though it's not ideal" situations. Tarragon is doing beautifully because he has such an amazing bean-family.

Hi guys,
Breath easy vines for T. today. Allerplex also loosens hardened congestion, making it easier to cough up. Maybe that is contributing to Tarragon's coughing? Hope he's feeling good today.

HI guys .. Yay for a reduction T!! I hope that his green's are more from him just regulating better and not just his meds but I guess it is a wait and see game .. Sorry to hear the meds aren't helping his asthma though .. Poor little guy .. And I'm so sorry to hear about your DH! I can only imagine the pain he must be in .. My brother doesn't have diverticulitis, is getting ready for about his 6th hernia surgery .. And I know those aren't any fun by themselves .. Have a great day guys!

Hi Melissa. Tarragon had a nice night yesterday evening although he could have avoided that 37. Hope he continues the nice numbers. Sorry to read that he is still experienced some coughing problems. We're sending him lots of healing vines.

I hope your DH is feeling better this morning. I read that the chemicals/pesticides used to grow some fruits & veggies can cause irritation so fruits & veggies grown organically are better. Also drinking a lot of water is suppose to help diverticulitis. Poor guy has it rough with two painfully problems at once.

Interesting on the Allerplex, I hope Ella is right and the old gunk is breaking up!

Congrats on the reducie. I hope Tarragon slides down today. Maybe the Allerplex just takes time to build up in his system. I've read that with some supplements it can take up to a month before you notice any difference.

Sending prayers to your DH. I hope you can find things he can eat.

Good job on the dosecrease, Tarragon. But I sure wish your coughs would go away. Feel better, buddy! Sending healing vines to DH. Heck, if that's what it takes to lose 5 lbs these days, I'll go for it...but I am limited on the times that it can come infect me. I'll have to work on that! :lol: Just kidding! Sleep well, friend!
