Yesterday was his best day ever since becoming ill. He slept with me all night, and was running, and hopping up the stairs to the deck, walking without a wobble, and even bossing the other cats around a bit. He is able to use his back legs to scratch under his chin, and this morning went into the cellist position to wash his rear end. Slept with me all night again.

All of this is great, but also very bittersweet, because my heart breaks for Barb. Wishing everyone the best.

Hi guys .. So glad to hear that River is doing well .. it's amazing the difference being on insulin can make for our little ones .. have a great day guys!

He's been on insulin for quite a while, I'm sorry to say, but my (former) vet didn't know how to regulate him, and didn't support me testing him as often as he needed it. Now I am hoping he's getting closer to becoming regulated.

I think we have an active cycle. But no worries, right, because he's still kinda high, and we lived through this a few days ago.

He must be really happy discovering all the things he can do again!
