420 PMPS
301 +6
Last night I was worried about J.D. He was only eating bits at a time and when he was done eating his little bits of FF and he was refusing more. Normally, he will eat for me if I lift the bowl to his face. I gave him some Pepcid and some cypro and the cypro didn't seem to help. He seemed withdrawn and I was thinking I may have to take him in for some bloodwork or something. Maybe he was having a bout of pancreatitis.
This morning I woke up at +11 and caught him eating some leftover YAZC from the automatic feeder and did not stop him. When I got up just a little bit late for AMPS, I saw that all of the food bowls (probably 6 or 7) that had food in them last night when I went to bed, were empty. All of this food eating must have happened after midnight (+6), because he was still not eating much by +6.
I also woke up to a purrfect solid stool on the pee pad, and to a beautiful day and both cats in a great mood.
Ginger has been running in and out of the house, so I have been joining her outside in the cool fall morning as she likes me to join her for some reason.
I have taken J.D. out for two walks so far.
And I have fed a couple squirrels.
It seems the squirrels all had babies or something. I used to have 4 or 5 adult squirrels begging for peanuts every morning and evening right outside my condo, and since I came home from Pittsburgh have not seem hide nor hair of them. I have seen a mother with babies once in a while. Today, I fed one mother down at the far end of the wooded patch, And then I found Mama!
I haven't seen her in like 5 months and was worried about her. I have been feeding her for about 5 years and don't know what their life span is, but the last time I saw her in the Spring she was coming out from under the bushes (not up in the trees) and I just thought she was getting up there. Well today, she's looking good and it was so good to see her.
So all is well, here. I'm glad J.D. has decided to not bounce on my day off. He has been an eating machine today. He has eaten 2 and 1/2 Breffises (he shared one with Ginger) so far, and has had lots and lots of treats.
