Hello Everyone! All is in place for Stella but we are waiting on the late arrival of the Poo. Her appetite is still miniscule, but she is eating and she is very happy and social so I am not worried. Stella hides when she is off and despite yesterday's LB drama all is well today.
The drops seem to be working! Stella is in green. Although the start was 127 that is in the 'normal' range too. I am still mystified as to how this all came about... how Stella is getting herself off of insulin. It is an amazing turn of events. Part of me is still thinking this is a 'fluke', but this fluke just lasts and lasts... Crossing fingers this doubting thomasina is shown a miracle by her furry old Stella. She is fourteen and who knew when I got her feisty self from the pound that she would teach me so much about life. It amazes me every day through this journey. The things she taught me would have been impossible to have been learned by me through another human. For that, this journey has been worth it. Its been a wild ride for sure. One I have fought, and then came to realize it has been for my own good.
When do I know to stop giving drops if it comes to that? I guess Stella will let me know? :lol: I never paid attention to this part of the journey because I never though we would ever get this close. I just hope a break happens before my next trip if it going to happen. And if it does... well... we will cross that bridge if it comes to that...
