Good Friday Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night (after some congestion that he sneezed out all over our pillows)! And this morning he has a good AMPS. He probably went low again last night. I decided to take him down a drop to what I am calling a "straight" 1.75 (2.55mm on the digital calipers, Terumo syringe). I was going to wait until after our return from NYC (because those trips always spike his numbers), but decided that he needed this reduction now. I didn't want him to be over-dose when his "trip numbers" subsided. Time will tell if I have made the right decision!

Yesterday was such a busy day here: first the electricians arrived, then the man from the fuel company who services the furnace (he wasn't supposed to come until next month, so we don't know what happened there!), then the glass guys, then the carpenter, then the fuel company to install and hook up the propane tanks for the generator. Then the electricians returned to get it started. It was a nail-biting day, but the generator is now all set. The tanks don't look too bad (they are in a gully next to the house). The only problem was that we discovered water leaking from under the furnace last night, so the furnace guy came back this morning and is working on it now. We needed a new part (this wasn't apparent until after he had re-set the pressure). So we hope we will be able to get away next week without worrying about the house!!

The Full Harvest Moon Party was a great success. The moon was brilliant.

Wishing all a good day and a great weekend. Sending healing vines to all who need them,

Re: 9/20 Rusty AMPS 107, +5.5 90; reducie

Wow! That was a busy day yesterday! Lovely numbers for the LagoonMeister and congrats on the reduce! Tess says all the kittehs had started planning for the trip to NYC next week. She's loading extra fleece and installing more bunk beds in the bus , so it will be ready to roll!

Rusty had a good day sleeping in his basket and on the front porch.
The beans had an angstvoll day with the furnace. The furnace man came early and installed the new part and, gradually, the water stopped leaking. We thought we were home free. WRONG!! Late in the afternoon I wanted to take a shower and there was no hot water. The hot water heater runs in conjunction with the furnace, which wasn't working. It was 4:45 P.M. We put in a call and a really excellent technician arrived around 6 P.M. He discovered that the furnace guy hadn't re-opened one of the valves. He checked everything else out and explained a lot about our heating system. All is now well! (We have a complex hot-water system with pipes and valves all over the place.) We are ready to chill out for the rest of the evening. I finally get to take that shower! I think that Rusty must have picked up on our agitation. I didn't expect his PMPS to be that high. But his test and shot were about 1/2 hour late because of the furnace trauma. In general, he had a nice day of numbers. I know that the reducie hasn't kicked in yet because of shed action, so I am a little concerned that I may have been premature in taking a drop off his dose.

Wishing you all a great weekend. We've decided, tentatively, to go to the city on Sunday instead of Monday--immediately after the new generator has her 12-minute "exercise" period. (Her name is "Jenny Generac"). We want to be here to see what happens, so we set the weekly exercise time for 8:30 A.M. on Sundays. This is really exciting.
