So I am hating his AMPS's the last 2 mormings :sad: And seems he has a flat yellow going on today. So we'll see whats in store ;-)
He is feeling good but not really liking the new food. He will eat it eventually but really not enough. Oh I hate the idea of trying to find a new food :roll: :roll:
As I will say forever "Da*! Merrick" Why did they have to fix something that wasn't broke :-Q

Oh, I sooooo hear ya on the "fixing stuff that ain't broke" nonsense. As much as I feel Science Diet is a poor quality food, it's the only stuff that kept my civvies digestive tracts in check - until good ole SD "improved" it a few months ago. Their so-called improvements made my kitties sick as could be, and sent me back to square one. What is wrong with these companies?!?!?!?

It's so hard when our kitties don't enjoy their fuds. I have a bit of that going on with Trix. I can sympathize all around. I hope you find a food new fuds for Hoot soon.

I think if more of these food companies CEO's had FD cats we would get a lot more choices :-x

I think there are so many issues with so many feline issues and fuds. The companies focus on making the food appeal to humans, whether or not it is ideal for cats. My civvies can't handle "fancy" food that has all the extracts and dried fruit in them (and they refuse to eat canned), but it is virtually impossible to find any food that doesn't have that stuff...and I really don't believe CATS need it, it just sounds good to humans.

It's even harder finding food that fits an FD kitty with kidney issues...very, very few choices, and these are two of the biggest health issues that can be helped with an appropriate diet....argh.

I know, we are very lucky Hoot has no other health issues so far ;-)
I roll my eyes every time I see a commercial for cat or dog food that just looks like what I had for dinner...Really???
Luckily we have some people who care enough (Dr Lisa and a few others) to take the time to try to get some valuable info for us who have animals with health issues.
But mostly it's always about the bottom line and making cheap food with cheap ingredients, and our furbabies are the ones who end up paying in the long run :sad: :roll:
 
I am "grrrr"-ing along with you on the food "improvements." Throws everything off.
I hope Mr. Hoot decides to come down for you into better numbers soon.
