This morning Clyde started out with his BG looking really good compared to the last couple of cycles. Unfortunately, his PMPS was not looking nearly as good as his AMPS. This would be his 8th cycle at 1.25U. I'm going to try and get testing around +4 & +6 to see if I can find out what his nadir is at.

Something tells me his nadir is probably under 200, but I want to get more data to back it up.

Re: 10/14 Clyde AMPS 158, PMPS 293, +1 332

I think Clyde is bouncing so it's not possible to know where his nadir is. Bouncing happens when the blood glucose goes lower than Clyde's liver is "used to" so it sends out hormones and sugar to bring it back up quickly. He went pretty low (for him) on the 11th so "bounced" up.

Without having more mid-cycle tests during the day, I have to wonder if he went lower during this morning's cycle too and the 293 at PMPS was another bounce.

The nadir is "Usually" around +6 but can change from one cycle to the next, so if you can get more tests during both cycles, it will help figure out where he "usually" nadirs.

I think I'd stay at the 1.25 awhile longer and try to get more data for now.

Here are some really snazzy "patience pants" for you to choose from

Unfortunately during the week, due to work it's easier to get a mid cycle test at night. I will get a couple more days of data in before doing anything.

I just did a +2, and was planning on a +4 & +6 tonight as well to try and get a better idea of what he's up to.

Sorry about that Will!! China needs to let me get some sleep!

Here are some more appropriate patience pants for you...but still quite snazzy!!
