Good morning, LL!! ☼☼☼
Sending vines to all in need today♥
Thanks for the visits last night, Rhiannon and Marje :-D

Ripley is doing great today :-D .
Perky, happy, eating, #1 & #2 in the LB, squawky ~ all is good here.

Back to work today ~ had the last 4 days off. I miss my kiddos, but I also love being home and tending to my fur-, feathered, and carapaced-kiddos here.

I hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

Re: 10/16 Ripley AMPS 103

That's a nice start this morning after you smelled insulin yesterday. I guess most of it got in. I'm glad Ripley is happy and squawky this morning.

Re: 10/16 Ripley AMPS 103

Hi guys .. nice amps this morning ripley! Hope work goes by fast for you today .. have a great day!

Re: 10/16 Ripley AMPS 103

Beautiful start for Ripley! Glad she is back to her perky self :-D :-D

I am with Ripley, don't like the sound of loud football either! (or baseball, and it seems like that is all I hear lately-  )

Re: 10/16 Ripley AMPS 103, +3.5 134, +9 82

Hello Carla, Ella, Devon, Jane, and Liz :-D ! Thanks for visiting this morning! (Liz, still working on capturing those squawks on video... I have to be sneaky, for she likes to pose when she sees my phone in my hand    )

Ripley seems to be having a restful afternoon.
I just got home from work and found a just-awoken kitty on her rocker.
I tested her, gave her a shrimpie, and she's already back in dreamland.
Oh, to be a cat.

Yay for green!!
I'm puzzled by her +2/+3 spikes, though. I think this is something fairly new (since syringe switch). Nothing has changed with food nor meds. **scratching head**

Oh well ~ there's always something to perplex us beans, right?

Re: 10/16 Ripley PMPS 115

They really do love to keep us guessing, but it sounds like Ripley had a very lovely day, and is off to a fabulous start tonight. Have a great evening, Josie!!

Re: 10/16 Ripley PMPS 115

Oh yes, to be a FDMB cat   Rough life they have  I think thats what I want to be reincarnated as ;-) Well with out the FD
Sorry your long weekend is over and hope you had a good day at work
Have a nice night Josie!

Re: 10/16 Ripley PMPS 115

Josie,

Ripley has some awesome numbers! Great job!
I am sure your kids missed you as well! :)

Re: 10/16 Ripley PMPS 115

Any change to feeding that might be spiking her at +2/+3?

I'm glad she had such a great day...and enjoyed her shrimpys.

Hope your day back with the kids was great!

My heart is beating so fast ~ I just tested Ripley, but she was napping and in a VERY DEEP sleep ~ I was rubbing her ear, and she didn't lift her head (odd), so I was petting her side & tummy and still no movement (more odd), then I said her name, increasingly louder. Finally she woke up with a start and a squawk. I've heard of this happening before (esp. with older kitties), but this was my first experience with a deep sleep & no immediate response. **WHEW** This mamabean needs a cocktail.

Thanks for the visits tonight Amy, Pam, Rich, and Marje :-D
Marje: I've recently added a little Wellness Chicken to her usual Wellness Turkey, just to keep the flavor interesting for her; but her little spikes started before I started adding the chicken; I've also recently switched her PureBites Chicken from cat to dog (dog is bigger bag), but I believe it's the exact same treat, just different packaging. Her first noticeable spike was while I was away this weekend ~ maybe it's her way of letting me know she missed me... ;-) .
Not sure what could be causing it, but I'm not too worried. Perhaps it's something that will "go away" after her next dose increase or decrease... Maybe it's just another thing to keep me guessing...

That would have scared me, too. I don't think it''s just an older cat thing. Even Tobey has slept so soundly he didn't wake up when I said his name or rubbed him.

I agree and also wouldn't worry ...patterns change and change back. :-D
