J.D. was a cuddley kitty last night. He normally likes to sleep wrapped around my head and was purring gently until I found a spot on his bony hips where he liked me gently scratching him and he purred three times louder and then went into a deep sleep. Then I put him next to me resting along my torso and he stayed like that for a while.

He peed once outside his box in the middle of the carpet when he first got up.. :-| and then later went all the way into his litter box to pee. I found him on his cat tree at Breffis time, so he started his 1st Breffis there (laced with Miralax), and he just finished it in his heated cat bed.

I got very little sleep last night (my tummy issues). I feel better now.
I need to get dressed and get these kitties outside for a quick walk.

I have to clean Furball's ears about one a week because she is prone to ear infections. I put the liquid in and rub the ear to get it down inside and then use q-tips to very gently wipe what I can reach and making sure not to push down too far inside her ear. I've heard you can also use cotton balls, but they won't reach as far, but you also don't have to worry about going too far and hurting the kitty.

I hope the drops are helping J.D.'s ears.
Thanks for the reply.
What I meant was the residual medicine that is on the inside of his ear. I test on the insides of the ears.
I have been testing on his left ear for a while. Normally, I use one ear for about 5 to 7 days and then switch to the other. I tried to test him on his right ear yesterday morning, but it was a little greasy from the medicine. He can't reach up there to clean his own ears with his paws. I guess maybe a damp wash cloth would work.

I hope everyone has a good day. Sending healing vines to all who need them.

I think a damp washcloth would work. If it's greasy and doesn't want to come off, maybe try a little Dawn dishwashing liquid. I was told to use that one time when a fly strip fell on one of my cats in order to get the sticky stuff off.

It sounds like J.D. got the royal treatment at breffis. Of course, he deserves it. :-D I hope he slides down today. I'm glad your tummy is better.

He sure does walk faster when there are treats every 20 feet.

LOL!

It sounds like J.D. was feeling good last night. Maybe he turned up the purr to help his MamaBean feel better, too!

Re: 10/22 J.D. 482

So sweet how JD will let you move him while he is sleeping, to just the right spot :-D Glad your tummy issues are better Dyana, why are they always worse at night???

Too funny on the faster walking - J.D. is a smart kitty!

Hope you have a good day!

Jane

Aseel :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: I was just thinking of you today. I want to see pictures of Chiquita, please :-D
Does that mean banana in Spanish? Is she yellow? I can't wait to see pictures. You can open a condo or post here. :-D

Aseel. I looked it up and Chiquita means little and pretty girl in Spanish :) I can't wait to see her in pictures ;-)

I can tell how tired I was this morning. I didn't even write the word AMPS in my Subject Line.

J.D. has nice soft fur, so I can only guess he had a good day today.
He climbed right up his cat tree for his vitamin (he thinks it's a treat), when I got home from work at PMPS, and then he ate 1/4 can 1st Dinner (normal size). After that we went for a walk around the block. He was being funny/silly, in that he prefers to come inside the house via slipping between the wroght iron railings on the deck and entering via the sliding glass door (and maybe getting a drink from his watering can on the way in). With his harness on, he thought he couldn't fit and he sat there with only his head through the railings. I took his harness off and he came inside.
We'll go for a longer walk a little later. Then I need to catch up on some sleep.

We just got back from a nice decent sized walk for us for right now. J.D. was hungry when we got home and just finished his 2nd Dinner. The kitties seem fine. I just need to start taking Ginger out on a leash too, because I kept calling her and I know she could hear me, but took her lovely sweet time coming out from where she was hiding, in the dark and spokey night time.

I hope everyone has a good night.

Hi Dyana,
Sounds like J.D. had a good day, and you, too. Glad you're feeling better. I hope Aseel will post with news of Chiquita. I know that we will all want to see a pic.

Have a fine evening with no tummy issues,

Ella & Rusty

I'm glad you're feeling better, Dyana.

I'm curious about Chiquita, too...
