J.D. was a cuddley kitty last night. He normally likes to sleep wrapped around my head and was purring gently until I found a spot on his bony hips where he liked me gently scratching him and he purred three times louder and then went into a deep sleep. Then I put him next to me resting along my torso and he stayed like that for a while.
He peed once outside his box in the middle of the carpet when he first got up.. :-| and then later went all the way into his litter box to pee. I found him on his cat tree at Breffis time, so he started his 1st Breffis there (laced with Miralax), and he just finished it in his heated cat bed.
I got very little sleep last night (my tummy issues). I feel better now.
I need to get dressed and get these kitties outside for a quick walk.
From Yesterday's Condo:
What I meant was the residual medicine that is on the inside of his ear. I test on the insides of the ears.
I have been testing on his left ear for a while. Normally, I use one ear for about 5 to 7 days and then switch to the other. I tried to test him on his right ear yesterday morning, but it was a little greasy from the medicine. He can't reach up there to clean his own ears with his paws. I guess maybe a damp wash cloth would work.
I hope everyone has a good day. Sending healing vines to all who need them.

Thanks for the reply.carfurby said:I have to clean Furball's ears about one a week because she is prone to ear infections. I put the liquid in and rub the ear to get it down inside and then use q-tips to very gently wipe what I can reach and making sure not to push down too far inside her ear. I've heard you can also use cotton balls, but they won't reach as far, but you also don't have to worry about going too far and hurting the kitty.
I hope the drops are helping J.D.'s ears.
