Good Monday Morning, Everyone,

Yesterday we had the "pre" bounce and today it looks like the bounce. I guess it was inevitable. We had another late night, watching the World Series. Red Sox won on a pick-off play in the bottom of the 9th! Exciting!! Rusty was watching and was happy to see the game end so that we could go to bed! He had a good night, snuggled in the quilt. This morning all went well and according to routine. But he preferred his little bed by the radiator to a schmooze with his mamabean. That's OK. I needed to clean the stovetop in preparation for our group's Halloween party (on Wednesday, a day early). The stove was a mess.

Another dark, rainy morning, but sunshine is promised for this afternoon. We'll see.

I hope Rusty clears the bounce soon and his breathing is still better today. How nice of Rusty to give you time to clean the stove.

Rusty has spent the day flat yellow, chillaxin' in his little bed by the radiator. Good appetite. OK breathing. I am concerned that he has been scratching vigorously behind his left ear and under his chin for a few weeks now. The fur behind his ear is mostly scratched off. The skin doesn't look red or irritated, however. I think I'll take him to the vettybean this week. I've been putting a little vasoline on it.

This was a day of odds and ends. Now we're getting ready to watch the game. Rusty has summoned us to the couch!

HOpefully the itch is no big deal...poor Rusty! I wonder if he's got some action lined up for tonight, what with all that flatness. Enjoy the game, Ella!!

I get a lot of outside scratching but it's the inside that itches....so I rub my thumb in there ( it can't go anywhere small) and it sure gets some good eye rolling
into the back of the head. ;-)
The vet always says they look clean and nice inside but they always feel oily to me. Maybe Rusty is having the same issue.....

thanks, Rhiannon. It's not the ear itself, it's the hair on the bone in back of the ear.

We had a good evening watching the Red Sox win. Rusty is upstairs, waiting for me to turn in.

Sorry for the late visit. It is good to see Rusty back to those low blues. YAY for flat yellows, huh. I hope the itching is no big deal, and that you can figure out what is causing it. Get that stove cleaned? I dislike that chore... ;-)
