Thank you for joining Ripley's annifursary celebration last night Sienne, Rhiannon, Libby, and Marje! (this is practically the crew from Ripley's first-ever pj party :smile: ) We wouldn't be here without you!

Ripley is doing great today :thumbup
I slept through (or turned-off in my sleep) my early alarm to give her a dose of pre-meal pepcid, but she's acting fine: hungry, perky, squawky. Except, wait, now she's sleeping on her rocker. Hey, Ripley, eat more fuds! You're not done yet. It looks like someone wants breakfast-in-rocking-chair...

it is SO GREAT to see Ripley on the road to recovery. YAY! and HOORAY on that green last night. How cool is that. :-D :-D :-D You are off to a good start today Ripley, surf well. AND: remember to eat your fuds. Breffis in bed for you? why not, huh!

Nice blue start for Ripley. Sounds like a crazy annifursary last night. Hope you are able to catch some cat naps today. You too Josie! :lol:

I'm glad Ripley is doing good this morning. Of course she can have breffis in her rocker. She's too cute to not give her what she wants.

Ripley is doing well tonight.
Quite spunky, in fact.
It seems as though she dislikes receiving her nightly sub-q fluids more and more ~ and now that she's feeling practically back to normal, she is doing her best to avoid the fluids. Unfortunately, I cannot carry the bag around and follow her around the house, like I do sometimes with her food bowl.
I actually had to lecture her tonight, about why she needs to stay put: it's for her kidneys and her pancreas.
I spoke in a firm voice (my DH laughed), but it worked. She sat on her rocker and STAYED for the whole 100mls. Even without food or treat enticements.
It was one of the easiest fluids administering ever.

I think our kitties (and other furkiddos) understand.

Great report! Well you know they are on the road to recovery when they start bucking the system. :lol: And I imagine mamabean doesn't use the stern voice on sweet Ripley very often, but when you do she knows you mean business :lol:
