Thursday

Oops, where did yesterday go? It started off with a black AMPS just like Thursday so I think I was waiting to see Papaya get down to better numbers before I posted that day, and then forgot . . .

Thanks for the visit Thursday night, Pam!

Papaya got the black out of her system again for now, I hope. Today's AMPS was decent (for her) but she was feeling lazy and waited for breakfast to be served in bed, rather than come out to the kitchen as she is usually doing these days. There was a bit of snow last night so it's a good day for btb cat-cuddling . . . but I think I will leave her to keep the bed warm while I bake something. Have a nice weekend, everybody!

i wouldn't want to call her a drama queen . . . but really, 62 to 552? that's about the best bounce i've seen in a while! :-D

do you feed her multiple meals before +5 or so? sometimes that will cut off a drop and reduce the bouncing. have you already tried that?

Aw Amy I'm sorry the black showed up tonight. I really had my fingers crossed for Papaya to keep it gone. Ok, nice and easy Papaya, c'mon down kitty. Give mamabean a bouncey break. Hopefully she settles her numbers down for you soon Amy. I really like Julie's suggestion. Putting that one in my playbook. Hope you have a good night neighbor :-D

Hi guys! Thanks for stopping by! Yuck is right, Carla, I'm very disappointed to see black again.

Julie - yup, she already eats a lot of meals spread out - usually at PS, +1.5, +3 or +4, then a bit later around +6 or more depending on whether I'm home or just leaving food out, whether she's coasting all the way down from a bounce (in which case she'll get a fairly late meal if possible), etc. In the AM I get up to give her shot around 4:30 then btb until 7:30, so I'm just leaving food down now for her to eat when she wants, and she does usually just polish most of it off right away, but it doesn't seem to make any difference in how fast she drops. She also gets 8 or 9% carbs wet Friskies as her regular LC, in the hopes that the slightly higher carb will offset the drops. I've tried changing the timing of the Metamucil she gets, putting it in a later meal rather than PS meal. But pretty much no matter what I try she just does what she wants . . . which appears to be BOUNCE. Sigh. She has been doing pretty well for the last while, and didn't seem to be going much above pink, but now the black-to-green is back.

Thanks, Kim, I hope Papaya takes your advice!

Oh no, Papaya is doing her yo-yo thing again!!!

Hi Amy,
I hope Papaya is feeling fine despite the yellow-green-black.
Sweet Papaya, I know you can do flat.
Show us your surfing skills now, OK?

What did you bake today?
