Happy Friday!!! Many wishes of white light and healing vines to Lucy, Hershey, and any others who need them. Congrats to Will and Clyde on starting their OTJ trial and we are rooting for them and Monet/Rise.
Yes...it is DREADED LUPITA FRIDAY ....

Gracie was sitting on the kitchen bar minding her own business and Lupita snuck up behind her and picked her up. AAACKKKK!!! SHE'S holding me!!! HELP, mama!!! Make her put me down!!! Icckkkkkk....I smell like her perfume!!!! Boy do I wish I had had my phone at the ready but even I did not realize Lupita was going to pick her up. She didn't squirm, shove, hiss, nothing.....but the look on her face was priceless. I am now persona non grata because I did not prevent such madness!!!! Well...that and because I also accidentally set off the house alarm this morning while the Fab 3 were having breffis. I feel certain that the jump in her BG had to do with that because she was coming down. Our alarm is very loud ....inside and out (sorry neighbors) and all three cats were .....not happy to put it mildly. It took me hours to convince Tobey that it was ok to move around the house again as if he thought HE caused the ruckus
So...speaking of her BG, I'm sort of not sure where to go on it. It's too soon to take her dose up; I don't think it's a wise thing to give her R with numbers like these and plus, it's not the onset of a bounce. I just have to wait and let them come down....I think she was definitely bouncing yesterday and I do think the alarm had something to do with today but who can say for sure. So I just have to don my patience pants. This dose has gotten her into the 40s and she's only on six cycles....it usually takes her at least 11-13 before I know if a dose increase is really going to work for her and since she has had blue/green...I need to just stay relaxed.
I've got to run out while she is up and get some meds from the vet and go to Trader Joe's so I'll be back later. I know...I know....what a horrible mama to leave her with Lupita! ;-) Have a great day.
