Yesterday's condo
Wow..sorry for the late condo, but I guess I figured I'd "do it later" this morning and then just plain forgot! Sure isn't anything good to report on China's numbers!! I'm beginning to wonder if the age of the insulin plus the fact it got frozen not long ago is finally kicking in, so I might try using the last pen I have and see what happens. There has to be some good reason for these highs when nothing else has changed and there's no bouncing going on...and even if there were, she wouldn't stay this high, this long!!

And yet another busy day in the record books, but at least I got mom moved from the hospital SNU to the Nursing home. They did give her a private room (she'd asked for one if possible, but I didn't think they had any...or her Medicare wouldn't cover it) but they have 2 "rehab" rooms that are private and Medicare eligible. The only problem with it is it's the furthest away from the nurses station..and they aren't real good about answering call lights in the first place. Mom's having a lot of pain in her left groin area today that hasn't been a problem before. They took the graphs from lower down her leg, but that may have been where they did the cardiac cath...but why it's causing her such pain today is worrisome. Hopefully it's just from being more active than she has been since this whole adventure started.
It's going to be nice having her closer to home though...Instead of 120 mile round trips, it's only going to be 2 miles
Of course she's got a slew of doctor appointments I'll have to get her to over the next several months, plus at some point they're going to want her to go to cardiac rehab (30 miles away one way) up to 3 times/week, so my driving mom around days are far from over!!
Thinking of Marje and Mike today. Wish there were something any of us could do
