11/24 Papaya AMPS=574 +6=101 PMPS=484 +4=320 +7=148

Yesterday: PMPS of 405 to +4 of 61 and dropping

Yo-yo cat is still at it! Papaya was sleeping so soundly this morning when the alarm went off I almost hated to disturb her, but when she knows breakfast is coming she doesn't mind getting up! The ugly PS of 574 has already cleared off to blue - another pretty fast drop but not quite as dramatic as last night.

Papaya, I dont know if we should laugh or cry or cheer or panic! ohmygod_smile You are one 'keep em guessing' kinda kitty these days. This might be a stupid question, but is it possible her dose is still too high? I'm still trying to learn how to see patterns and read the SS but this I think I did see recently and it was after a reduction then they took another reduction pdq. Don't mark my words tho. I may have misunderstood what I seen :lol:

Hi Josie! Cute! I hope so too but regardless she is working her way down, so maybe bouncing is just her thing.

Hi Kim! With Papaya, I work towards reductions this way: she needs to show numbers between 40 and 50 on three separate days (or once below 40 for safety reasons), and only then does she get a 0.25 unit decrease. She's been doing these crazy dives pretty much since the beginning - so much for the "they'll stop bouncing eventually" concept :roll: It seems like regardless of the dose she'll still hit low greens on it at some point even when she's really not ready for a deduction. Then the reduction won't stick and she'll be feeling miserable until I go back up. Plus she would earn back to back ones sometimes when even the first reduction of the chain wasn't going to work. So this way seems to work better for her. And since last November she was at as high as 3.0 units, it's getting somewhere, just very . . . bouncily!

With that said I have a feeling she is not going to be at this dose for long, with the numbers she is pulling lately!

I have the feeling I'm going to need to pick up some junk food with this much football that needs watching ;-)

Papaya is the perfect example of ECID. She has her own dance steps for getting where she's going. At least you seem to have figured her out for the most part. Of course she can still surprise you because she's a cat. :lol: I hope she'll keep surfing for you today so you can enjoy your football.

Evening Amy! Yup, Papaya is up to her usual tricks - at least tonight is a slow slide. Watch her give me a green AMPS tomorrow on a work day!

(Disappointingly lop-sided football games so they're losing my attention even though the teams I like are winning! If I had any sense I'd just go to bed early while I have the chance :lol: )
