11/23/ Clyde 102 AMBG 102 PMBG +3 68 - OTJ Trial Day 13

Good morning LL!

If you haven't done so already, please go check out Monet's OTJ party! Hopefully, Clyde will be joining them tomorrow.

This morning he posted 102 for his AMBG. I finished up the tray of foodsicles he was having for dinner and we're now on the last tray. My gut feeling is it is the venison EVO which is 6% carbs that is doing it. Once I'm done with the foodsicles I'm going to mix the venison and the chicken together to try and mitigate the carb issue. The chicken is 2% carb so if mix both cans together, that should get the venison down to a level that hopefully won't push him over 100. Then when I run out of the venison, I won't buy any more of it.

Clyde is getting excited. He didn't want to stay still for his check this morning. Everything was moving, he wanted to play rather then sit still for his BG check. Just sit still, only one more day then I won't have to test at least twice a day every day. :mrgreen:

Also good luck to Mr. Cat and Shadow on their trial, hopefully they will be joining Monet at the falls next week.

Tonight Clyde's PMBG was 102, but I don't know if it is a food influenced number or not. I got home about 20-30 minute after the autofeeder was scheduled to open. I was getting them used to eating from it in case I have to work late or something and can't get home in time for their regular feedings. While no one was actively eating, I could tell one or both of them had picked at their dinner.

I'll check in 3 hours to make sure.

His +3 was 68 so I think the PMBG probably was food influenced.
