Yep, stOOpid not eating trick handed me another 50 at pm+10.5. He was ready to eat tho'! I fed the 50 as usual, tested to be sure he was rising and got a 124 about 1.5 hours later. He's eaten even more so I imagine that number is up close to the 200's if I tested right now. He seems to be feeling well but is HOLLERING for everything - he has no 'quiet voice' today. Wait, yes he does...he's in there quietly mewling around hunting more turkey.

Oh NICE Sir Rock! This is the first low number we've seen since he caught this cold. He's still sneezy but is definitely feeling better - not up to 100% yet but better. His hair looks awful right now, so oily but that's because of the high numbers the last few days. I'm getting ketone tests at least once daily - he doesn't seem to be prone to developing them - a HUGE relief.
We were DOUBLE blessed yesterday - someone dumped a little tiny black kitten which luckily wasn't afraid of people, came running right up to me to be picked up. We knew no one around had brought one in so this had to either be a dump or come from the feral colony nearby. I had him in my arms cuddled against my black coat, not to the house yet - friends drove up, of all things, to tell us that their little black cat they'd adopted from us years ago had crossed last week. She'd been VERY loved and very well cared for over those years. Then my black coat squirmed...head popped out from under my arm. AWWWWW...OH HONEY! LOOK what she has! It even has a little white star under it's neck! When did you get this one? "Someone dumped him, how 'bout if HE is YOURS?" "Come here sweet baby, let's go home...." YARD DANCE!!!! BIG HUGE YARD DANCE!!!! He never even made it into our house....
All other fuzzy feetz are doing well - temp is up to 45, the warmest it's been in over a week!
