Good afternoon....it's Fursday and the day after Christmas. We hope you all had a special day filled with love. We are just broken hearted over Muffin and send Anne all our deepest condolences, love, prayers.

WILD BABY GIRL alert!!! It started off as a relatively quiet morning with lots of snuggles but after the +2, LBG got crazy wild and she and Tobey were racing all over the house, chirping, bushwhacking, chasing, and generally having what I would describe as a "good cat time" :lol: :lol: He did get her in a headlock at one point which is a big no-no with the Principessa and mama bean had to intervene with a "be sweet, Tobey" admonishment. I'm certain I actually saw him :roll: :roll: :roll: as he backed off because I never tell her to be sweet and she really plays much rougher than he does. I was watching them sit next to each other by the Christmas tree and it really struck me how much larger he is than she is....taller (they are about the same circumference ;-) ). And yet, she holds her own but she also did with GA Max who was a solid 12 lb kitty when she was even just a baby at 6 lbs. It makes my heart sing to see she and Tobey have such a great time together.

Not sure where the bounce came from but I'm guessing it was a little time in green and not quite enough insulin in the depot to keep her from bouncing. BUT....I thought the +5 last night might be a high before a break and it was so I'm glad she's clearing the bounces quickly.

Late last night (I was still up visiting condos so it must have been about 11pm my time), one of my sisters called. Evidently, earlier in the day, mom fell out of her electric wheelchair (don't even ask.. :roll: :roll: it was quite the story) and fell on her head. The aides got her up and when my sister got there, Mom seemed to be fine. But before she got ready to leave at about 9 my time, Mom started feeling really bad. My sister called the nurse on duty and Mom's BP was really, really low and Mom was feeling sick. Very long story short, Mom was finally ordered by her doctor to get to the ER. They gave her IV fluids and kept her overnight and also did a CT Scan. All appears to be fine and they released her this morning.

Sounds like fun at your house this morning!! Poor Tobie...just trying to have a little fun with his "little sis".

Maybe they're both starting a new exercise program early for New Years? :lol:

Sorry to hear about your Mom's fall....but glad she was able to be released this morning after only spending the night. They sure can keep us jumping, can't they? I'm not sure which is harder..taking care of young children or aging parents...at least with young children, we were younger at the time and more able to keep up.

Wow, I'm glad your mom is ok! It's scary when things like that happen :cry: Sounds like Tobey and Gracie love each other very much Gracie, you are looking beautiful in green today, keep it up for your beans :mrgreen:

I just love hearing about the antics of your critters, how do you get anything done, I would be photographing and videotaping all day.. Very lovely color miss Gracie.

Hi Marje, it seems like a lot of fun watching the antics of Gracie and Tobey. I am sorry to hear about your mom's fall, but I am glad that she is OK.

Marje.....I'm glad Miss Gracie had a nice day, and lots of morning fun with her 'little' brother.

I'm so sorry your mom had a fall. I'm glad she only had to stay at the hosp overnite, and is home.
Mike coming home tomorrow? Now, that'll be happy time!!

Thank you all for your visits and well wishes for my mom. She has spent most of the day in bed today....she's sore. But she's had a couple nurses in checking on her and she's talked to all four of us girls. I think she just needs a little time to get over the aches and pains of the fall.

Gracie had a gorgeous day!!! Our Gracie of a month or so ago before she had all those icky yellows. I'm starting to feel hopeful about this dose and I mostly wish she'd just stay in the 70-100 range on it :mrgreen: I should have never said that "out loud" here :lol: :lol: :lol:

PS Barb...YES!! He gets home early in the morning and will be home for TWO WEEKS!! Yippee!!!

Um, I know it's the Holidays and all, but will there be anything Special about tomorrow? Besides Mike coming home?

A little late in wishing you Merry Christmas, I spent most of last evening on the phone with family. Nice day for Gracie. Great that you Mom is doing better. Old age is not for sissies. LOL. Enjoy your 2 weeks with Mike and have a great evening. Thanks for visiting us yesterday.
