I gave J.D. some Cypro on Thursday morning and on Friday morning. On Thursday evening when I returned home from work, almost all the left out food was eaten (about 2 cans of FF usually), and last night most of the left out food was eaten. I never know who eats it (but Ginger has gained some weight). Last night I had a heck of a time getting J.D. to eat, but he eventually ate a normal amount by adding lots of toppings and concluding by adding crushed Temptations.

This morning, I have offered him 3 flavors (2 with toppings of freeze dried salmon) and he refused them all. I finally got him to finish 1/3 jar of baby food beef with broth. I have 1/4 Cypro and 1/4 Ondansetron ready in a pill pocket, but would first like to see if he just eats on his own.

I was going to go btb, and hope to still do that..

Oh JD..where is your appy bud? You gotta eat your fuds to stay strong and healthy :smile: And all the yummy decorations on there...mmmmmm!!!
Enjoy your btb Dyana. Hopefully JD will eat more now that he has a bit in his belly.

You are such a good mommy to J.D. You really are good at food presentation for J.D. You have quite a stash. I pray he eats for you today.

He ate
1/3 jar baby food at +0.5
1/3 jar baby food at +2
1/3 jar baby food and licked it clean at +3.5
1/4 can FF (from his 1st Breffis, layered with toppings) at +4.25
1/8 can FF at +4.75

I was spoon feeding him the baby food.
Earlier, he was acting like he couldn't smell or the food was not cat food that I was offering him.
And even though I tried spoon feeding him the cat food earlier and he flatly refused it,
I offered him a spoonful of his uneaten 1st Breffis at +4.25 and that got him started.
At +4.75, he ate another 1/8 can of FF.

He peed and pooed overnight (poo under my computer desk chair :roll: ), and his coat is soft and sleek. He was laying on his side more than normal, I think, I'm not totally sure, it could just be my mind. He went outside and was licking at the ice in his watering can. It's 33 degrees outside, but is supposed to get up to 50 today!
The next time I have off which is next Saturday, it is supposed to be a high of 13 degrees :shock:

I am glad he ate for you although you had to use your tricks. I remember when Lovey had diarrhea and was eating baby food her Bg's were lower than normal. He had the baby food early in the cycle.

He got a teaspoon of MC mixed with some LC at +5.25 and he ate a few bites of that mixture.
At +7, he finally hungrily ate some regular FF.

It's close to our high of 51 now, so I think I'll take the cats out for a walk.

You are one dedicated bean, for sure!!! JD is very lucky to have someone who will do EVERYTHING she can to get him to eat!!! I'm glad you finally got food in him and his numbers are looking pretty awesome.

J.D. is eating his 1st Dinner fine.
We took advantage of me having a day off of work and the good weather to get in two walks today.
