Yesterday, lots of green, an early PM 37 followed by lots of surfing
Good morning! It's another -37 C day here. The bad part is that it's starting to seem normal! Papaya is, not surprisingly, bouncing off all that green last night. I was rather surprised she kept surfing it for as long as she did after I got her up from that 37. By +7 she was still at 62 and wasn't interested in eating more. This morning as soon as I had turned out the light after T/F/S, she started picking at the blankets beside me. Since there was still food beside the bed this could only mean one thing - she was asking to go to the litter box. The silly thing is that she doesn't need - or want - help to get there, she just for some reason thinks she needs to inform me that she's going! I turned on the light again and went to lift her down and she squawked, jumped down (surprisingly gracefully) on her own and hurried off to the LB.
I just added a new page to Papaya's SS to start 2014! She has been getting shots since Oct. of 2012, so it was getting way too far to scroll to the bottom! Plus since I use an American meter now, I don't really need the international conversion except back the other way if I go to the vet. So there's just one page with US numbers for this year, although I have to fiddle with the link to make sure my signature will point to that page starting tomorrow. My mom got a calendar printed for me and used a picture of Papaya peeking out of a big cozy quilt for the December 2014 page. It made me a little nervous to see it there . . . I sure hope she's still doing okay in another year. nailbite_smile
This morning I shot through the bounce but will reduce to 0.5 tonight due to the once-below-40 rule. It follows a bit too close for my liking to the last reduction, but I'll see how it goes and go back up if I need to. Have a lovely day, everyone!
