Good morning LL!

Happy furry purry guy this morning. Tarragon had a great relaxing weekend with Mason. Sounds like there were a lot of snuggles and play while we were gone. He did seem happy to see us when we got home yesterday though. Sweet boy.

We had a great time in Baton Rouge and DH did awesome in his marathon, beating his best time by 6 minutes. It was a beautiful course and really great people.

Hope you all have a great day!

OT: Chelsea update - They moved Chelsea to a great rehab facility about 2 hours away in Bethany, OK Friday morning. Chelsea woke up Friday afternoon for an hour. She went back to sleep and slept all Saturday. Sunday, which was her 18th birthday, she woke up again and is officially out of her coma. Unfortunately it's not like the tv shows and people don't just wake up fine. Chelsea has significant damage to her corpus collosum and a bruised brain stem. She can't talk and Angela isn't sure if she recognizes them (although she smiled big when she saw her boyfriend). She is in and out of consiousness, agitated, and confused. She is getting better every day. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. When the accident happened, Chelsea was only given a 2% chance of survival so miracles are already happening.
Kaitlyn update - Kaitlyn is out of the hospital and is doing fine. She is going through rehab for her broken ankles and feet but is one lucky girl. Her mom, Pam, appreciates all of the prayers and good thoughts.

Well, that's a very un-Tarragon-like number. What's up with that?

That is a wonderful update regarding Kaitlyn and especially about Chelsea. I hope they can get her involved in cognitive rehab as soon as possible. The behavioral changes you've noted are not uncommon. It may be helpful to consider that sensory stimulation is very powerful with memory. Familiar sights, sounds, smells, and tastes can help to trigger memory.

Good Morning, Melissa,
Congrats to your DH on his personal best! Glad you had a good weekend and that Tarragon, Turnup, and Charlie had a good time with Mason.
Mr. T. You're just starting out on the Pink Team, right? Time to slide down a bit.

We are continuing to send very strong healing vines to Chelsea and Kaitlin. They are very brave girls.

Have a good day, Hugs & scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O)

Pink Tarragon? Down you go! Very nice on the happy furry purry. They do miss us when we are gone.

Congrats to DH!

It is very good news on both girls. I wish then the best.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.

Welcome back! I'm glad Brian had such a great race - wonderful! I'm sure "the kids" had a great time while you were gone - hopefully you didn't come home to the mess of some big old "the 'rents are out of town" party!

Very wonderful news about the girls. We're still sending prayers for both...Chelsea is proving that miracles do happen every day!

Have a great day, Melissa!

Hi guys .. oh my tarragon, what are you doing up on that floor? Glad to hear everyone had a good time this weekend and that your DH did his best ever run .. Continuing prayers being sent out for both girls as they still have such a long ways to go, but thankful to hear how much improvement both are making!

Glad you had a great time in LA. Continued vines for Kaitlyn and Chelsea. Amazing Chelsea is coming around - I hope they both continue to improve every day. Mr. T, time to find the down escalator, ok?

Congrats to DH! Glad Tarragon is feeling good, and is probably getting ready to leave the pinky floor :-D

Great news on Chelsea - continued prayers for a healing brain. Prayers for a good rehab for Kaitlyn also

I'm sorry Tarragon is on the stinky pinky floor, come on down, little one! Yellow and blue, or greens is better :-D It's nice that he was so happy to see his beans but still had a nice time with Mason

Great news on both your friends girls, and on your DHs marathon! Continued vines of healing to the girls.

Have a great day, Melissa!

Noooooo, Mr. T! That is not your color Best to bring it down, pink and black are not i fashion anymore!

Congrats to DH on a personal best! And great news about the girls. Waking up is great progress and there is still a lot of healing that can be done!

It's good to hear Tarragon is happy & purry this morning. I hope he slides down today. Congrats to your DH on his time in the marathon. That is wonderful news on Chelsea and Kaitlyn. I'm keeping them in my prayers.

Hi Melissa, congratulations to Brian on his Marathon, so amazing! That is positive news on both Chelsea and Kaitlyn. Many prayers goimg out for Chelsea and prayers for a good rehab for Kaitlyn.
I was wondering, too, on the party that Charlie, Tarragon and Turnup had while the big cats were away.
