Good morning LL!
Happy furry purry guy this morning. Tarragon had a great relaxing weekend with Mason. Sounds like there were a lot of snuggles and play while we were gone. He did seem happy to see us when we got home yesterday though. Sweet boy.
We had a great time in Baton Rouge and DH did awesome in his marathon, beating his best time by 6 minutes. It was a beautiful course and really great people.
Hope you all have a great day!
OT: Chelsea update - They moved Chelsea to a great rehab facility about 2 hours away in Bethany, OK Friday morning. Chelsea woke up Friday afternoon for an hour. She went back to sleep and slept all Saturday. Sunday, which was her 18th birthday, she woke up again and is officially out of her coma. Unfortunately it's not like the tv shows and people don't just wake up fine. Chelsea has significant damage to her corpus collosum and a bruised brain stem. She can't talk and Angela isn't sure if she recognizes them (although she smiled big when she saw her boyfriend). She is in and out of consiousness, agitated, and confused. She is getting better every day. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. When the accident happened, Chelsea was only given a 2% chance of survival so miracles are already happening.
Kaitlyn update - Kaitlyn is out of the hospital and is doing fine. She is going through rehab for her broken ankles and feet but is one lucky girl. Her mom, Pam, appreciates all of the prayers and good thoughts.
