I talked to my vet, she thought the oil greasy thing is gland too, the problems is that Mao left it on my bed, on the floor, she has a nasty oily smell. The vet said the Flagyle will take care of it, but I haven't seen any improvement.
Hi Marje, thank you for asking regarding the fluid, It's not easy for me to do it without someone's help. I need to give Mao fluid today, but I don't know if I need to change a new line every time because there are lots bubbles or steam inside the line, I wasted 200 ml fluid trying to get them out, but they are still there. I didn't cup it when finishing the fluid last time, the vet didn't give me the cup when she taught me how to give the fluid at clinic. I don't have other line and fluid available.

If you are giving fluids subq, you don't have to worry about the bubbles in the line. Bubbles are only a real issue if you are doing an IV as you don't want air in the blood vessels.

I used the same line for two weeks. You can leave the capped needle on the end of the line when you are done. Just be sure it is all put away where no one can get it. Then when you are ready to give fluids the next day, replace the needle with a fresh, cold one from your freezer.

You are NOT stupid!!!! It's very common to believe that because we are always told bubbles in the lines are bad. And they are if it's going into the bloodstream. I worried about the same thing when I first gave fluids.
