Yesterday

Still no stops at the lagoon, but Trix seems to be working yesterday's dosecrease at least a little bit...these lower blues are much nicer than the high flat blues! She did dip close to the lagoon with a 101 at +4 last night. Maybe we'll start seeing some greens again soon.

The snow portion of the current storm missed us, but we are still getting freezing rain. Everything is covered in ice, branches are falling, there are scattered power outages as transformers are blowing. I am beyond being so over this winter...and we apparently have another storm lined up for this weekend! My skin can't take it, DH's back can't take it, my neighbor's half dead tree (that she refuses to remove) that keeps dropping branches on my house can't take it, my business can't take it....enough is enough is enough!

Come on Trixie. Work that juice! I need to increase as well. Hope she moves it on down to the green floor for you.


:YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: You have gotten hit so hard. I am so sorry Amy. We missed the big snow too but just had ice, which is sometimes worse. Especially with all the snow you already have on the ground. You need a vacation to a nice warm beach somewhere.

I hope Trixie starts working the extra juice and gives you some green soon. Yuck on the ice. I hope your weather gets better soon and the next storm misses you.

Made it to the lagoon!!!

I am heading to work now...I live very close (1.5) miles, but I am hearing about many major road closings because of downed trees and power outages. Ugh ugh ugh.

Oh, that's how I felt in Nov/Dec/start of Jan when we kept getting hit by snow, and snow, and snow, and of course really cold on top of it :evil: . I hope the weather improves for you really soon! Winter, blech. Today we are at -30C (-22F) but thankfully no snow, yet.

Well, there is some sunshine in your day that Trixie is in the lagoon! Paws crossed that the dosecrease keeps her nice and green :mrgreen: . Hopefully work will go ok for you, have a safe trip and a good day! :smile:

Nothing too exciting going on over here, but that's OK...we've had more than enough excitement with the weather. Lots of trees down, lots of big branches off that neighbor's tree, and my favorite tree that I posted the other day took a big hit :sad: . But, we're lucky...my business partner's power is out, and may stay that way till Sunday. This is bad...really bad. Winter needs to end.

So sorry to hear about your favorite tree, but it will bloom again. Ice storms are the worst. The big ice storm up here in 1998 (before we moved here) saw most residents without electricity for 2 to 3 weeks. No one could go anywhere because the gas stations couldn't pump gas.
I hope that your weather will improve and that the next storm will miss you and that you will get a few mild days so that the ice will melt.

Trixie saw GREEN. Maybe you will soon, too.
