Yesterday's condo

Happy Fursday LL!!

As promised, a quick "hello" before I leave for surgery. The one time I really wouldn't have minded a sunny yellow, and I get a green Pre-shot, but I'll have to go with it.

Not at all happy with this time change since it means there's no way to check her after +3.75 until I get home late this afternoon (hoping for about +10 but that might be pushing it) Everyone will be hungry, and it'll be so close to PM shot time. Not sure what to do about that problem

Guess I'll just leave extra food out for everyone and hope if China needs it, she'll go find it. She's gotten pretty comfortable with her feeding schedule and kind of expects me to bring her to her food bowl...or bring her food bowl to her!

oh my....glad I stopped in this morning to see how China was doing because I noticed you were going in for surgery. I hope all goes well....will be thinking about you. China...she is looking good in those greens. Hope she surfs through the day.

China knows she has to be strong for you while you go through with your surgery! I hope you have a speedy bounce back :razz: China had a great surf yesterday, hopefully she will continue today!

Looks like China finally realized she needed to be an extra special good kitty and surfed safely the rest of the day while I was gone. I broke down and gave her a really tiny bite as I hobbled back in the door at +10 so she wouldn't drive me crazy for food for a little while.

Surgery went fine, but as expected, I'm not real comfortable tonight, so doing the best I can to take care of both China and myself. I had a severe allergic reaction many years ago to something called Marcaine (a long lasting numbing medication) so they decided they better not use it or anything like it, so only used Lidocaine, which wears off much quicker, so I'm probably hurting a little more, a little sooner than if they'd been able to use something else.

The sent me home with a contraption that you put ice and water in, and then it has hoses that bring the cold water into the "wrap" that goes around my knee, so that's helpful.

Probably not going to be visiting much tonight, but I know you understand.

It's going to be me and China cuddles tonight...and an occasionally Percocet

I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went well and that China was so thoughtful as to surf blue. Hope she continues to do that tonight so you can just relax and cuddle with her.

But it looks like she's ahead of the game, and is going to give me a quiet night...although I'm not sure why (but I'll take it!!)
