3/11 Cobb AMPS 254 +4.5 197 +6.75 202 PMPS 298

Yesterday

All is well with Cobb this morning. He was extremely hungry last night and are a whole can of food within a 3 hour time period after his pm shot. I kept checking his BG but it wasn't going anywhere (higher or lower) really. He ended up banished into the laundry room so I could get a little sleep! He seemed better this morning. AMPS isn't too bad. Hopefully he'll come back down into the blues today. That would be exciting!

I'm glad to hear that the food didn't raise his #s. I hope that his #s come down for you very soon. Try and have a good day, and hang in there.

Just out of curiosity, what is the carb content of the food that you're feeding him...? If it's too high, you may want to try a food switch to a lower one to see if it'll help, too. Just a thought.

He eats Friskies Special diet, Turkey and Giblets...it's 5% carbs.

we banish our cats every night - poor babies. i'd love to have them sleep with us, but they don't sleep. they are downright obnoxious and attention-demanding, not very good qualities in the middle of the night! :lol:

A little higher than I'd like for tonight's PS. But of that's the only bounce I get from yesterday's blue streak, who am I to complain? :lol:

I did draw the last drop from this vial of insulin, and I did drop it this morning :sad: but we start a new vial tomorrow morning anyway so I figure, get my money's worth. With my discount card the Lantus vial was $210 at Publix.

We're seeing better numbers so I hope (fingers crossed) we are honing into the right dose. I'm anxious to see what the vet says in a few weeks. Thankfully my parents have agreed to Mattysit so he won't be a distraction at the vet appt.

Anyways, I'm ready to see if fresh insulin makes any difference!

Wow Ugh on the Lantus price with the discount card. Highway robbery this stuff :evil:
